A pale blue flowering herbaceous perennial. Position: full sun to partial shade Soil: moist but well-drained Rate of growth: average Flowering period: June to August and then again in the autumn Hardiness: fully hardy Large spikes of lavender-blue flowers emerge and persist from early to late summer, flowering again for another floral flurry in autumn. ‘Feathers Peacock’ is a delightful hardy perennial with deeply incised, scented foliage and looks great in the perennial border or in mass planting schemes. Garden care: To prolong flowering remove the flower spikes as soon as they start to fade. Apply a generous 5-7cm (2-3in) mulch of well-rotted garden compost or manure around the base of the plant in spring.
