A new variegated form. Position: full sun or partial shade Soil: moist but well-drained soil Rate of growth: average Flowering period: July Hardiness: frost hardy (may need winter protection) This new nandina is sure to bring a dollop of bright colour to your borders or pots. It has a bushy upright habit, but with a maximum height of around 120cm (4′), it is nogoing to dominate. The best thing about it is the foliage, which is heavily smattered with white. It emerges in spring with a coppery pink flush but this fades as the laves mature. It holds onto its foliage throughout the year and when the temperatures drop in winter, the colour seems to intensify. To top it off, the plant also produces sprays of small white flowers in summer.
