It has deservedly won the best new plant introduction at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2018. Very prolific in flowering on both old and new wood it has many more flowers than your average hydrangea. The white lacecap flowers often go on to develop an attractive pink tinge as they age. Known as a garland hydrangea it can produce more than one flower on a branch and with flowers appearing all along the stems from the lateral buds it looks just like a garland of flowers. Garden care: Hydrangeas do not like to dry out. In dry weather, soak the roots with a hose and the plant will usually recover. Remove faded flowerheads in spring after the danger of frosts, cutting back the flowered stems to a strong pair of buds. Take out misplaced or diseased shoots. Mulch young plants with a well-rotted manure or compost in spring. Once established, remove a quarter to a third of the shoots to the base of the plant.
