Position: full sun or partial shade Soil: any well-drained soil Rate of growth: fast-growing Flowering period: May to June Hardiness: fully hardy ‘Green Wonder’ responds superbly well to clipping and can be shaped to retain its current form or with time, it can be allowed to develop a more imposing spherical shape within the garden. Euonymus, have for some time proved to be excellent alternatives to Buxus sempervirens (box) so either consider it for all-year-round structure and interest in the border or in a pot on the patio or terrace. Garden care: When planting incorporate some well-rotted compost or manure and some some mycorrhizal fungi (Rootgrow) into the planting hole. Tip prune young plants in mid to late spring to encourage bushy growth and apply a generous 5-7cm (2-3in) mulch of well-rotted garden compost or manure around the base of the plant.
