This colourful foliage, along with the violet-blue thistle-like flowers that appear on branching blue stems in midsummer, make ‘Jade Frost’ a cracking perennial for the border. The flower heads are long lived, and they look great when added to both fresh and dried arrangements. Garden care: Avoid the temptation to cut back the flower-heads in autumn as they provide interest in the winter garden.
