Great, when teamed with ornamental grasses and darker purple or bronze foliage backdrops, ‘Sunstar Orange’ is a hit with bees and butterflies, too, as well as being a seasonally abundant cut flower. Garden care: Protect from frost with horticultural fleece and a thick organic mulch to protect the roots. Deadhead regularly to prolong flowering and water well during hot, dry spells. Cut the faded flower-stems back down to ground level in autumn and compost.
