Another noteworthy feature is the way the flowers change colour. Initially white, they take on a pinkish flush as they age, so it is possible to have both white and pink flowers on the plant at the same time. Garden care: Deadhead regularly to prolong flowering and water well during hot, dry spells. Cut the faded flower-stems back down to ground level in autumn and compost.
