Appearing each spring, this foliage is soon accompanied by sprays of small, rich blue flowers. A gorgeous groundcover for a partially shaded border, it can also be used to soften the edges of a pot. Garden care: Cut back to the base of the plant any stems with leaves that revert to plain green. Lift and divide the plant every two or three years in late autumn.
