A small aloe succulent cactus indoor houeplant with spikes of apricot flowers. Position: bright but indirect light Soil: good potting compost, well drained Rate of growth: slow Flowering period: early summer generally Hardiness: tender (will need winter protection) The fleshy grey-green foliage of this gorgeous aloe is topped with upright spikes of creamy yellow flowers, which open over several weeks from apricot coloured buds. This sun-loving plant makes a colourful addition to the cacti and succulent collection, and will be happiest on a bright windowsill. Please note that the pot in the photograph is not supplied with the plant (which is sent out in a standard nursery pot). Home care: Water moderately when growing, and sparingly when dormant through the winter months. Feed with a balanced liquid fertiliser 2-3 times during the growing season.
